Turning Point is commissioned to provide a community-based Health Trainer Service that is free to residents of Kensington and Chelsea who are over 18 years old.
Turning Point’s model for the Service is determined and simple: we want to identify those people most in need of guidance and help them achieve their health goals and access appropriate local services.
We want to build partnerships with local organisations, services and communities to provide our clients with personalised and holistic support that will put them in control of their lives and help address health inequalities throughout the borough.
The Health Trainer Service is made up of people who have been specifically trained to provide one-to-one Health Trainer support to help empower local people to make positive, informed choices that improve their overall health and wellbeing.
In addition, for those that meet the eligibility criteria we are also able to offer a free NHS Health Check.
